First introduced in 1956, the iconic Butterfly Chair from ercol has become a timeless everyday classic. Its signature steam-bent backrest and seat create a distinctive silhouette, offering both comfort and style in equal measure.

Crafted using traditional Windsor wedge and tenon joinerywhere the legs extend through the seat and are secured with a wedge before being sanded flushthis technique ensures exceptional strength and durability, ready for the demands of daily life.

Made from solid ash, the Butterfly Chair is available in a range of finishes to suit any space. For enhanced comfort, its also offered with an upholstered seat, with a wide selection of fabrics available from the ercol collection.
