A very special oil from the La Barca Estate or “Finca”. Finca La Barca Olive Oil is smoked using the traditional method of the La Vera valley – the home of Spain’s famous smoked paprika “pimentón”. For a fortnight the oil itself sits in the smokehouse, drawing in the gentle smoke of the holm oak fires. The estate grown Arbequina olives produce a buttery and fruity oil which partners exceptionally well with the oak smoke. With a bottle of this limited edition oil you can add the rich fragrance of smoke to grilled fish and roast vegetables. Serving suggestion: use to make Spain’s famous tomato bread “pan con tomato”.
