The olives from the Frescobaldi’s groves are harvested by hand and pressed in the family mill. The oil has a multi-layered aroma, with notes of dark chocolate, fresh grass and artichoke detectable. With a full and creamy texture it has some flavours of fresh fruit and mown grass while flavours of walnut skins add a pleasant bitterness. It is extremely well balanced with a persistant spicy green peppercorn finish. This year is the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Laudemio Consorzio, and to commemorate the occasion Frescobaldi have released their oil in a special edition gold bottle.

Directions
Drizzle over salads, soups and other hot and cold dishes. Goes particularly well over a resting steak or on Tuscan bean soup.
