Description
Description
An elegant coffee table that elevates and extends into a small dining table, able to seat 4-6 people. Designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured in the 1960s, in Denmark, by V. M. Mobler. This piece is a beautiful example of the Danish Modern emphasis on the balance of form and function.
The table top is teak veneer on engineered board, with solid teak, shaped edges. The whole top rests on a solid teak apron, and solid teak, shaped, legs, strengthened each end by stretchers. The table elevates by a simple mechanism; just lift the top and the extending legs hinge down and slot on top of the stretchers.
